Happy Friday New Life,
Let me start off by saying thank you for all of your prayers as I recover from back surgery. I am so looking forward to being with you this Sunday, fellowshipping with you and sharing God’s word with you. Also, a big SHOUT OUT to all of you that were out at the Park this past weekend during our Church in Service. The way you shared the good has generated several good reports about how much a blessing it was for so many. If you haven’t had a chance yet, go check out some of the pics on the App. If you have some pictures you would like to share, make sure you text or email me. Word is you served over 200 hot dogs, and I was lucky enough to get a couple of those: DELICIOUS! Looking forward to our next events and which you can see below.
If you are looking for a daily devotional, remember there is a tab on the Church App that will provide just that for you. Don’t neglect your spiritual workouts because you think you are too busy. Take advantage of this great tool we now have. Also, look at the prayer wall, there are many who need our prayers and you may want to share a request as well.
A quick congratulations to Judi Clement on the birth of her great-grandson Enzo to her granddaughter Kally. Enzo came into this world yesterday, May 25, at 8lbs and 21.5”. Mom and son are doing great and we are thankful that God continues to show his grace and mercy in our lives.
Just a quick did you know; On this day, May 26th, 1899, Future President William McKinley, 56, wrote in his notebook: 'My belief embraces the Divinity of Christ and a recognition of Christianity as the mightiest factor in the world's civilization.' Can I say that our leaders would do well to recognize what our former President recognized, and that is the authority of Jesus Christ. We need not be ashamed of the power that lies in the name of Jesus and calling upon Him to help us throughout each day. As Paul told us in Philippians 2, Every knee in heaven and on earth and under earth will bow down and confess that Jesus Christ is LORD! AMEN and AMEN!
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you. My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.
Blessings, Pastor Andy
